Bonnie has been practicing law since 2006 and focuses her practice on community association law. She acts as general counsel for associations and dedicates a significant portion of her practice to the collection of assessments. She works closely with both managed and self-managed associations in the collections process and maintains an interactive website where management companies can track the progress of their accounts in collection. A native of Boone, Bonnie attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in criminal justice. She attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and graduated with honors in 2006. She is a member of the Community Associations Institute, the New Hanover County Bar Association, and the Real Property and Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association. She also serves on the board of directors for the Cape Fear Community Land Trust.
